Name of Stricken Community / Department 2. Incident Commands radio frequency (red, white, blue) 3. Incident Commands radio ID 4. Location of Incident 5. Staging Area 6. Type of Rescue response needed 7. Level of alarm 8. Once all of the information has been obtained, activate the MABAS (or appropriate) tones on the appropriate frequency and dispatch the call, per established procedures. Request acknowledgement from dispatched departments. **33 Regional Technical Rescue Teams – activated from the RED CENTER **The State of Illinois Urban Search & Rescue Team will be requested through the Fire Chief, Mayor, and Governor. • Division / Department receiving the request: When a request for a Haz-Mat or TRT assistance is received, obtain the following information: 1. Name of Stricken Community / Department 2. Incident Commands radio frequency (red, white, blue) 3. Incident Commands radio ID 4. Location of Incident 5. Staging Area 6. Type of Rescue response needed 7. Level of alarm Once you have been toned / notified, acknowledge your dispatcher that the call was received and the team is being assembled. You may want to contact dispatch by phone to verify information and details of the response. When response personnel are enroute to scene, notify your normal dispatch and they must relay the information to the requesting agency. The information to be relayed should include: • Team & Response Vehicle ID • Number of trained team members responding • Equipment you are responding with • ETA While enroute, monitor the specified frequencies. About 10 min. from scene attempt to contact the Staging Officer for updates and directions.
